My favorite weekday breakfast is by far a smoothie. Okay – now that’s just a lie. I also do really enjoy the occasional Dunkin Donuts. ha. But really, when I’m making my breakfast at home a smoothie is my go-to. Now I have to admit I’m a little weird. I have been eating my smoothie with a spoon since before it was cool. In my opinion smoothies and milkshakes should always, ALWAYS require a spoon to be eaten. Now I do still eat them out of a glass, I just like them to be extra thick! With that being said, here is the recipe for my favorite smoothie.
- 1 serving of Chobani simply 100 Strawberry (I almost always have these on hand so it’s my go-to but if you had a tub of your favorite yogurt use a little over a ½ of cup of that!)
- 5 Frozen Strawberries
- ¼ cup frozen blueberries
- ½ banana
- ½ cup frozen spinach
I usually top it with whatever other extra berries or fruit I have on hand, sunflower seeds, or even chia seeds.

I already have frozen spinach but have never thought of having frozen everything else, good idea, I’ll have this tomorrow for breakfast before yoga 🙂
